This growing community is situated on the Boulder-Denver Turnpike (U.S. 36) just a few miles east of Boulder neighboring Louisville.

The Town is approximately four square miles in area. Population is 12,483. 594 acres of parks, greenspace, and open space and 27 miles of trails. Close to Interlocken Business Park and Flatirons Mall. Largest development is Rock Creek with approximately 2,700 single family homes and 1,800 multi-family units. Boulder Valley School District. Great views of the Flatirons. Historically it was a mining town and named Superior because of the superior quality of coal.
